    Hunting Reports - Weekly Updates

    11/14/05
The second split of duck season is in full swing with the guides at Waterfowl haven taking advantage of everyday. Recent temperature drops to the north of Colorado has started a flood of ducks and geese into the state. Hunter's such as the ones pictured below can expect mixed bags of duck featuring fat greenheads as the birds push south. As of Sunday migratory flights of Canada and snow geese were seen filling the skies. This is excellent news for hunters lucky enough to book those coveted goose opener spots with Waterfowl Haven. Check back next week to see the results of the opener!

The opener for the regular Colorado goose season opens November 19, 2005. The guides have high expectations that this will be a banner year as more geese have been seen using the freshly harvested fields. If you have not already booked your Colorado waterfowl hunt of a lifetime, do it soon as available dates are running out.
